To make sure learners chat with each other in a discussion before a lesson is marked as complete, you can require they make a certain number of comments.

To require a certain number of comments in a discussion, click the three-dot icon for the discussion, click the Required comments checkbox, and then enter the number of comments you'd like learners to make.
