How to Add A Lesson To A Tutorial

How to add content to your tutorial. Upload an audio or video file, upload an image, or add text to your tutorial.

1. After adding your overview section, you can add a lesson by clicking the "+Add" and then by clicking on "Lesson"

 

2. Give the Lesson a Name, then click the Green Check Mark

 

3. Click "+ Add Element" to add content to your lesson

 

4. You have several different options for adding content to your lesson. It will list the options in alphabetical order:

  • Audio: This element allows you to upload MP3 files. Either select or drag and drop your file into the field. You can check the box to require learners to listen to the entire audio before moving on.
  • Embed E-Learning: This element allows you to export from other tools like adobe captivate or articulate storyline. Basically if it can be exported in a zipped xAPI file you can upload it here.
  • Knowledge Check: This element is like a Test, but it is ungraded.. You can give feedback to your learners to check their knowledge and understanding, but not grade them. First select one of the question options

    Then, enter different answer options and select box to the left of the one that is the correct answer. Then you can click the feedback boxes to enter in your explanation for why each answer is right or why it is wrong.
  • Poll: A good way to collect data. you can select if you would like to hide the results from your learners at the bottom
  • Quick Response: This element is great for asking your learners to stop, reflect, and write something down
  • Rich Text: This element is basically a text editor. You can enter your text, drag and drop pictures, and even upload youtube videos here if you have the URL
  • Video: This element allows you to drag and drop MP4 and MOV files. The Max size is 2 GB, but there is no limit to how many files you upload.
  • Discussion: This is a space for learners to have a conversation. You can manage your discussions by banning or deleting comments if needed.
