When sharing a tutorial in the marketplace, you can assign it a topic, which is different from traditional SEO tags.
If you share a tutorial with the Marketplace, you want it to be found and used by other academies. Luckily, you don't need to add traditional SEO enhancers, like tags, for this to happen. The search engine in Niche Academy is smart and combs the text within a tutorial for frequently used terms. When you search for a term in the Marketplace, the engine first looks at a tutorial's title, then the section and learning item titles, and ends with the text within the learning items.
So, if you want to increase the visibility of your tutorial within the Marketplace, ensure you include key terms in the tutorial's title, learning item titles, and within the learning items.
Topics are used to categorize similar tutorials in the Marketplace’s Explore feature.
To include your tutorial as part of a topic, click the three vertical dots icon next to the tutorial title.
Enable Share with other academies and then enter the first few letters of the topic you’d like to use. A dropdown will appear with existing topics to choose from. If the term you’d like to use is not on the list, it might be too specific. For example, we don't have a topic for "Creating Passwords" as it is a basic computer skill, so add the "Computer Basics" topic instead.
If you think the term should be a topic, enter the term and press the Enter key. It will be set as pending and will be reviewed by a Niche Academy employee.
